Postdoctoral position in Muscle Biophysics. NIH-funded study to investigate 
the functional properties of myosin regulatory light chain in Drosophila. 
Research involves generation and characterization of transgenic Drosophila 
expressing mutant light chains.  Research is of a highly integrative nature 
and candidate will be exposed to different disciplines through various 
collaborations. Candidate must have experience in one or more of the following 
areas: molecular cloning, Drosophila genetics, muscle mechanics, cell imaging, 
and muscle protein biochemistry. The University of Vermont harbors one of the 
most comprehensive programs in Muscle Physiology in the country 
(http://cardiovascular.med.uvm.edu/). A wide range of expertise among our 
highly interactive faculty and the state-of-the art facilities and
