Dear colleague,

We are happy to inform you that the Russian Academy of Sciences,
Russian Sociaty of Plant Physiologists, K.A.Timiryazev Institute of
Plant Physiology, A.N.Bach Institute of Biochemistry (Moscow) organize
an International Symposium on Stress and Inorganic Nitrogen
Assimilation" and 2rd Fohs Biostress Symposium 17-21st September 1996
in Moscow.

The Biostress Symposia are sponsored by the Fohs Fund. The First
Biostress Symposium was organized by Prof. S.H.Lips (1995, Darmstadt,
Germany).

On behalf of Organizing Committee we would like to invite you to
attend the Symposium and would like you to consider contributing a
paper to one of the topics of our Symposium.

Symposium Package

Accommodation will be organizined in Russian Academy of Sciences Hotel
(or another one) not far from the centre of the City.
The Symposium Package for participants includes: Registration fee, 4
nights (arrival 17th September; departure 21st September)
at the Workshop hotel including 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches, Welcome
Reception, Farewell dinner, coffee breaks, excursions) and all
Symposium material (preliminary price 600$).

Proceedings of the symposium are planned to be published in Russian
J.of Plant Physiology (in english and in russian simulteneously).

Oral and Poster Sessions are planned.

ABSTRACTS

The Organizing Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts relevant
to the topics of the Symposium. Abstracts should be in English and
should be arrive at the Organizing Committee NO LATER THAN 15th May
1996 (by E-mail using ASCII-codes, MS-DOS TEXT). Abstracts will be
selected for either oral or poster presentation.

Abstracts of oral and poster presentations must not exeed 1 page.
Format should be 15 cm wide, the upper and left margin 2.5 cm, the
length of the whole abstracts no longer than 24 cm.
