Thank you for your reply.
Our image aquisition system based on Nikon OPTIPHOT microscope with motorized stage and video
camera attachment. We are able to automatically aquire hundreds of images using autofocus
processor with the magnification up to 3000x, as well as capturing images from a VCR. We also
have software designed to determine 3-D coordinates.
We use Optimas software for analysis of aquired images. We can recognize and outline images in
both color and grey scale modes depending on task. Over 100 measurements could be applied to
the objects based on:
- luminance
- optical density
- histogram and related measures
- size
- shape
- position and orientation
- texture
- others
Certain macros were written to automate image analysis.
Reporting and managing results:
- export data to files or to Microsoft Excel for analysis
- create custom reports using OLE windows and Excel
- print images to any Windows-compatible printer
I hope that I answered your question in general. Please feel free to contacct me if you need
additional information.
Please be advised that, as a commercial organization, we can do some work for you on a contract
basis should you have any problems that we can solve.

Sinccerely,
Anatoly Portnoy
