A two-year post-doctoral position in plant community/ecosystem ecology
beginning July 01, 1998 is available to work on a Nature Conservancy/
Mellon Foundation-supported project examining the ecology of plant
invasions in forests in southeastern New York State. Research will involve
experimental and plant survey work in Long Island and Westchester, NY.
The study will concentrate on the properties of communities and ecosystems
that promote or inhibit invasions. Applications should include a C.V., a
statement explaining how your interests and experience relate to this
project, and letters of reference sent independently by two referees. More
