Workshop--Extremophile Research: Theory and Techniques

The American Type Culture Collection, in collaboration with George Mason
University and the University of Maryland's Center of Marine
Biotechnology, is sponsoring the fourth annual symposium and workshop
entitled "Extremophile Research:Theory and Techniques".  This course, to
be held July 24-27, 2000 in Baltimore, MD,  focuses on topics in
extremophile research concentrating on the methanogenic,
(hyper)thermophilic and halophilic Archaea.

Funding from the National Science Foundation has allowed us to cover
tuition for eligible graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty
