Workshop Announcement:
Theme: Interactions Between Increasing CO2 and Temperature in Terrestrial
Ecosystems
Place: Lake Tahoe, California
Date: April 27-30, 2003
Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to bring to your attention the second annual TERACC workshop.
TERACC (Terrestrial Ecosystem Response to Atmospheric and Climatic Change) is
an NSF and GCTE-supported networking activity to foster communication among
scientists involved in experimental and modeling efforts to understand
ecosystem responses to global change (see
http://gcte-focus1.org/teracc.html).
The next workshop will focus on CO2 x temperature interactions. It will be
held at the Granlibakken Conference Center (www.granlibakken.com), Lake
Tahoe, California, on April 27-30, 2003. The three-day meeting will include
invited talks, lots of discussion, posters, and afternoon working group
meetings on various topics.
The full workshop announcement, a tentative agenda, and a registration form
will be posted at:
http://gcte-focus1.org/activities/activity_11/teracc/meetings.html
Check there for updates. Or we can send these files to you as email
attachments off the listserver -- please request this by email to
Tracey.E.Walls at umit.maine.edu.
Please note that the registration deadline is due by March 7, 2003. Stipends
for student participation may be available. Please distribute this
announcement to your colleagues.
Best regards,
Rich Norby
