Graduate research in Lower Plant Ecophysiology / Environmental Genomics at Case

Global change research opportunities (MS and PhD level), investigating
physiological response or structure/function disruption to algal and fungal
dominated ecosystems, are currently available for creative and highly
motivated individuals. Potential research topics involving manipulated
Midwestern pond/stream mesocosms, Pacific Northwest marine kelp forests,
coastal rainforest epiphytes, or Appalachian lithic communities are
possible.

Applicants should possess interests in ecophysiology, evolutionary ecology,
conservation or field biology. Previous experience with lower plants,
molecular tools or chemical ecology preferred, but not required. Full
tuition waivers and stipends ($18,000) are available to qualified
applicants.
