I came across your question (pasted below) on the internet as I was trying to find the same answer for one of my master's classes.  Did you ever find an answer or a good URL to explain the effect of acid rain on the enzymes in plants?

Can someone tell me the effects of sulphuric acid (in acid rain) on the
enzymes in plants, that can go on to inhibit plant germination? Anyone
An answer, or an URL would be most grateful; it's for a piece of
coursework for school!
