Dear netters,

Does anybody know any information about, or how to find a range of
homologies between DNA sequences from poplar and birch ?
I was woundering that because I would be interested to use the sequences
data from the populus EST database to study expression of
birch genes by Northern-blotting.
Thanks for any idea...

Birch:   Eukaryota; Viridiplantae; Streptophyta; Embryophyta;
Tracheophyta; euphyllophytes; Spermatophyta; Magnoliophyta;
eudicotyledons; core eudicots; Rosidae; eurosids I; Fagales; Betulaceae;
Betula
Poplar: Eukaryota; Viridiplantae; Streptophyta; Embryophyta;
Tracheophyta; euphyllophytes; Spermatophyta; Magnoliophyta;
eudicotyledons; Rosidae; Violales; Salicaceae; Populus.
