Chimeric gene expression

Does anybody know of any good resources explaining the molecular biology and
physiology of chimeric gene expression. Such as the sex linked expression of
calico color in cats. I am particularly interested in finding out about
chimeric gene expression of autosomal genes if such exists. Web resources would
be preferred.
