I share your interest and fascination though I am a bit more sceptical 
of this "self cure" as I am in the "testing" side of things.
Subsequently, the answer to your questions is that you may well get 
postives on one test and not another for countless reasons! So this 
phenomenon may not be as rare as one thinks!
