Looking at the web-site I realize how much I really don't know about
corn. So I'll pose a very non-technical corn questions in this form
here:
Under the attic floorboards of my family's home (circa 1730), I've
found several different piles of corn cobs probably brought into the
house by animals. Some of the cobs show 8-rows of kernals, others 10
and 12.
I know the first Native American corn encountered was 8-row flint
corn. When did the 10 & 12 row corn enter the picture?
