Tenure Track Positions in Biology
The Biology Department invites applications for tenure track
positions in the following areas:
Plant Molecular Genetics/Genomics
Evolutionary Ecology
Cell Biology
Developmental Neurobiology
We are especially interested in candidates who will interact with and
strengthen existing faculty clusters in these areas (see
http://www.bio.umass.edu/biology/positions). Candidates will be
expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching and
maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program. Although
initial appointments will normally be at the Assistant Professor
level, exceptionally strong candidates may be appointed at a higher
rank.
