A postdoctoral position with the USDA-ARS at NC State University in Raleigh
NC will be available in early 2010 to work on optimizing and
characterization of a virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) system in maize,
as part of a collaboration between ARS and the Noble Foundation. We are
looking for a candidate with a background in plant virology and/or plant
molecular biology. Knowledge of plant disease resistance would be a plus.
