4th Annual Meeting of the National Association of Plant Breeding
August 15 - 17, 2010
Johnston, Iowa, USA
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for 4th
annual meeting of the National Association of Plant Breeding (NAPB),
an initiative of the Plant Breeding Coordinating Committee (PBCC).
Once again, the meeting will provide all plant breeders an
opportunity to interact and discuss issues of importance for both the
public and private sectors. All plant breeders - students and
professionals, public sector and industry, U.S. and abroad - are
encouraged to attend.
The meeting has three goals: 1) to discuss strategies to shape the
future of plant breeding, 2) to expose participants to
state-of-the-art plant breeding research through invited speakers,
and 3) to exchange knowledge through poster presentations by
participants. This year's meeting is hosted by Dr. Stephen Smith, of
Pioneer Hi-Bred International, and will be held at the Pioneer
Hi-Bred facilities in Johnston, Iowa.
Registration is open and accessible online at
http://2010plantbreedingmeeting.eventbrite.com/ .
This site also provides information on the meeting agenda, optional
tours, lodging, meeting logistics, and poster presentations. All
meeting participants must register prior to the deadline of Monday,
August 2, as we will not be able to accommodate on-site registrations.
We look forward to another excellent meeting. Hope to see you there!
Thank you,
Allen
