Please find attached a flyer for the Interdisciplinary Plant Group symposium on "Heterosis: Working toward a genetic, molecular, developmental and physiological basis" from May 25-27, 2016 at the University of Missouri. An outstanding group of speakers will participate and address heterosis from many different perspectives across multiple species. The basis of heterosis has remained obscure for many years despite its importance in plant biology and agriculture. The hope is that this convergence of heterosis researchers will spawn new approaches and ideas to advance the field. Please note there are also slots for four student or postdoc talks to be selected from poster abstract submissions.
