storing protein samples? ****

Dear Moleculnetters,
I was wondering , in your opinion what is the best way to keep a sample of
crude extracts ( or (NH4)2SO4 fractions) for a period of a month to 6 months.
I usually keeps my samples at -70C but am wondering if 4C would be adequate.
