sections of hard tissues falling off

We have been trying to do in situ PCR and have a problem that
after the PCR steps the cartilage and bone parts of the sections
fall off. All other tissues e.g muscle, epidermis stay on.
Sections are on TESPA treated slides, have been fixed in paraformaldehyde
before and after the PCR steps. If PCR is omitted the sections stay
on. I would appreciate advice on how to make the saections
stay on after the PCR step.
