Wanted a mentor from industry

Sorry, I know this is the wrong group for such a need, however it appears
to have the most usage.  I am a first year Ph.D student in the area of
micro/molecular biology and I need a mentor from industry to give me advice
(through the years) about coursework, contacts, society affiliations, etc,
I am doing this in hopes of becoming more marketable when I graduate. 
Presently I only come in contact with those in academia.  If you can help,
