Concerning ap-oligo conjugates:

.I know it is possible to conjugate CIP alkaline phosphatase to
oligonucleotides using disuccinylimidyl suberate (DSS).  I have a 49mer
oligo with a 5' amino link moiety.  Am looking for protocols for this
procedure. Specifically:the quantity of APase required for conjugation,
 its unit activity required and where I could source it from. Any help
would be much appreciated. 

Don't use DSS if you value your sanity! Use heterobifunctional xlinker
approach I summarized in BioTechniques (15(4) 692-699.
I'd be happy to help with updated lab protocols.
