Total cellular protein vs cell number

Dear Sir;
        If your cells can be applied to the flow-cytometric analysis,
 you can use FACS machine to semi-standardize surface membrane expressed 
or associated protein using antibodies to them.  You can refer to the 
"Current Protocols in Immunology" or other text books.
