Q:Does Gene Clean interfere with ligation?

Hi,
   'new wash' is almost bound to inhibit ligations if its there in any
quantity as its 70%(?) ethanol. I spin the glass and remove most of the
wash respin and remove as much of the residual wash as I can with a
fine tip. Leave the pellet to air dry on the bence for maybe 5-10
mins (vacuum drying decreases the yield a lot) and elute with TE.
  Typically, yields are >= 80%.
