I have been conducting research into soil ecotoxicology, and some of my
treatments have resulted in relatively high concentrations of KCl
extractable NH4+ being produced in the soil (40-70 mg/kg vs 2-4 mg/kg in
the control soil).
Does anyone have any info or sources of info on the effects (adverse or
otherwise) these levels of NH4+ could have on soil arthropods, plants,
protozoa, nematodes or microorganisms? I would greatly appreciate any
leads anyone couild provide.
Please email me at mefuller at ucdavis.edu if possible.
Thank you in advance for your help.
