Julie,

I graduated from VPI with a masters in biology (microbiology) in 1983 and did
some work with with Dr. Johnson at the Anaerobe Lab. The copy of the Anaerobe
Lab manual that I have is the fourth edition and was published in 1977.

You will need to get hold of Dr. Moore or Dr. Holdeman. These two are well
known in the lab and they may be able to help you. I believe this manual is
available to people taking the Anaerobe Microbiology Course. I do not know if
they still offer this course. I know VPI does have a world wide web
page...I'll see if there is anything there.
