Reaction Driller 1.5
Educational organic chemistry software

Innovative Software Solutions is currently selling its new
Macintosh program for organic chemistry students. Reaction Driller 1.5 is
a new Macintosh application which tests and reviews over 200 organic
chemistry reactions typically covered in the first year of a
college-level organic course. The software was designed with students in
mind and is graphically driven for easy use, manipulation and learning.
For each particular reaction there is a detailed drawing of the starting
compound and the reagents used. At the touch of a button the you can
display the product of the reaction, or a short, but detailed text
description. For reactions of mechanistic importance, a color reaction
mechanism is also available.
Reaction Driller allows you to maintain total control over what
you want to review. You can choose to review reactions from 14 sections,
and you can easily navigate from section to section by making a menu
selection. Within any section, you'll be able to search for and find any
particular reaction. It's great as a course supplement while initially
learning reactions, a reviewing tool for use right before exams, or as a
method of revitalizing long forgotten knowledge. This software is easy to
use and very effective. It has already been introduced into the teaching
curriculums of several universities, where both students and professors
found it to be novel, highly effective, and very reasonable in cost. Many
Ph.D.'s and graduate students have also found this software valuable in
reviewing organic fundamentals.

Reaction Driller 1.5 requires a Macintosh II or greater.
System 7.0 or more recent is recommended.
