I know that S. marcescens is an opportunistic bacterium and responsible for
nasocomial infections. Can anyone tell me if it causes skin infections,
specifically recurring skin infections with pus. I've checked with
microbiology and pathology books, even checke Merc's manual no luck. Pus
taken from infection contained S. marcescens and Micrococcus luteus. Any
info is greatly appreciated.
