POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP
Applications are invited for a three-year Postdoctoral Fellowship to work
on variation in intertidal periwinkle snails, concentrating on allozyme and
DNA polymorphisms. The project, which is funded by the MAST-III programme
of the EC, is part of a European consortium (Leeds, Galway, Brussels and
the Azores) studying the dynamics of biodiversity in the rocky intertidal
environment.
Applicants should have a PhD and experience in molecular biology
techniques, in particular PCR. The successful candidate will join a
dynamic research group and will be expected to contribute both to this and
to the larger research consortium.
Salary between =A316,000 and =A319,000 over the three year period.
