Can anyone tell me whether Gp B streptococcus or Enterococci sp. can cause
Mitral valve prolapse year later after being infected? I have a female
friend who is 42 y/o and has been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse and
I was wondering if this is true.
I used to work as a microbiology technician in the early 70's and someone
told me that these microorganisms were the causative agents.
Any help would be of great help.
