Cryptococcus

Cryptococcus sp. are generally easy to grow in the lab. They will grow on 
Sabouraud's dextrose agar. It has been my experience that they should be 
subcultured after a few days; they are not very hardy organisms. 
Incubation temperature is important; some  species will grow at 30C, but 
not at 37C.
