photosynthesis without bacteriochlorophyll?

if photosynthesis means for your that energy comes from light (phototrophy)
I know veryinteresting organism:Halobacterium. It uses light for proton pump,
is rhodopsin. There was note in Nature last year, if i remember correctly,
about Halobacterium.
