You picked a tough subject to research. I believe Vanco resistant S.
aureus exists although we have never encountered it at our hospital. Why
not try methicillin resistant S. aureus, it is much more common. Anyway, a
good book to read is "The Antibiotic Paradox" by Dr. Stuart B. Levy. It
focuses primarily on antibiotic resitant bacteria.
