Please excuse my intrusion into your scholarly discussions, but I'd
like to pose a question. My son has been recruited by Salem-Teikyo
University which is located in West Virginia and is the product of a
merger between Japan's Teikyo University and Salem College. He is
planning on majoring in biotechnology/microbiology.
Recently, it was mentioned to us that such a degree from Salem-Teikyo
might not be very "marketable" after graduation. Since this is a
major decision for him and us, I'd like to solicit opinions, advice,
etc. from those of you in this field.
