Are there any guidelines on a reasonable number of cultures one
person can read in one day as far as routine cultures (urine, abscess,
wound, respiratory etc.)are concerned? I realize this can be difficult
since they take a variety of time depending on the growth, however, I am
looking for something general. I have a vague memorie of an article in
Clinical Microbiology Newsletter but I do not recall the year. I will not
be able to check in the library for several months. If anyone knows of
references I would be grateful.
