Hello.
I would like to determine the heavy metal resistances of several
hydrocarbon degrading organisms. Can anyone help me out as regards
methods/references. I'd like to look at copper and zinc in particular but
I'm unclear as to which salts to use and how much of them I've got to
add. I want the media to be as carbon free as possible and would like to
run some experiments using Gelatin as the solidifying agent instead of
agar. I know that a big problem is the complexing of the metals in the
media. Any handy hints?
