Has anyone done elemental analysis on DNA extracted from E.coli or
environmental cultures for carbon and/or nitrogen content? I am interested in
the wt% of DNA. Also, has anyone tried to use extracted DNA for nitrogen
isotope studies of aquatic bacteria?
