Plasmid carrying Yersinia strains tend to lose their plasmids
after a number of transfers on solid media. To selectively
increase the number of plasmid carrying bacteria, a transfer via
an animal like a mouse is recommended.
Is there information available on the possibility of increasing
the number of plasmid carrying bacteria by transfer via (murine)
cell culture? If so, where?
