A post-doctoral position is available at the Research Department of Labatt
Breweries of Canada. Current research is conducted on the
biochemistry/physiology of yeast fermentation. We are seeking a recent
Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Genetics/Microbiology with extensive experience with
yeast. Knowledge of yeast genetics, PCR analyses, yeast culture techniques
is essential. The appointment is for 2 years and eligibility for Natural
Sciences and Engineering Research Council funding is desirable. The
candidate must possess good oral and written communication skills, and good
interpersonal abilities. Citizenship or landed immigrant status in Canada
