Postdoctoral Position: Molecular/Structural Biology of Membrane Proteins
Applications are being accepted for a postdoctoral
position involving the cloning, overexpression, and
3-D structural characterization of membrane proteins
using combined genetic, biochemical, and biophysical approaches. The
Adenoviral E3 EGF Receptor
Downregulating Factor (E3EDF) will be the first
target protein of this project. Applicants must
have significant experience with molecular biology techniques (gene
isolation, cloning, overexpression,
and mutagenesis) and an interest in learning state-of-the-art approaches to
the determination of
the high resolution structures of integral membrane proteins. Additional
