Salmonella threat to Vegans?

There are papers in the literature which speak to finding enteric
microbes in salads. These are 20-25 years old, but did mention that a
variety of these types of microbes were found even in fresh salads
from hospital food lines!  Since salmonella are enterics you should
consider a vegan lifestyle the same threat as non-vegan diets..
