I'm trying to track down examples of the use of microorgansims in
bioremediation for an introductory microbiology course I'm teaching in
January. Is anyone aware of examples (not in the lab but in the real
world) where bugs were used in this way? I seem to recall that the
Exxon Valdez cleanup might have involved bugs but I'm not sure and I
don't have any specific details. Thanks.
