The Department of Biology at Texas A&M University seeks to fill two
faculty positions at any rank in the general area of microbiology.
Competitive applicants will be expected to have demonstrated research
excellence in any area related to microbiology, with some preference
given to individuals taking molecular genetic approaches to examine
basic biological questions in fungi, bacteria, or viruses. Successful
candidates will be expected to take an active role in the undergraduate
and graduate microbiology teaching programs. All applicants should
submit a curriculum vitae and statement of research and teaching
interests; junior level applicants should also arrange to have three
