DNA: a base or an acid?

DNA or RNA, both are acids due to the phosphate group which makes for the
-P=O and the -P-O<minus> gourp, the acid groups.

Bases of DNA and RNA refer to Uracil, Thymine, Cytidine, Adenine and
guanine...

Hope my two cents has helped
