U9 MEDIUM  FORMULA PER LITER

TRYPTIC DIGEST BROTH       7.5 gm
SODIUM CHLORIDE                    5 gm
KH2PO4                                     0.2 gm
HORSE SERUM                        50 ml
UREA SOLUTION 10%               5 ml
PHENOL RED SOL'N 1%            1 ml
PENICILLIN G 100,000u/ml      10 ml
AMPHOTERICIN B                  250 mg       
                               
FOR U9-B    ADD 5ml 2% L-CYSTEINE

FINAL pH=5.5
