N-CON Systems Co. also makes an on-line toxicity monitor. It is call
the BIOSCAN. The biological filter rotates to maintain a constant biofilm
that consumes oxygen. We then measure the dissolved oxygen to see how
happy the "bugs" are. No headspace gas to fuss with. Simple and reliable.
