The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) publishes a manual
that covers this topic, entitled "Biosafety in Microbiological and
Biomedical Laboratories, 3rd edition", 1993. The stock number is
017-040-00523-7, and can be obtained by calling (202) 512-2356. I believe
the cost is $6.00.
