The second United Kingdom Symposium on Health-related
Water Microbiology is to be held at Warwick University on
17-19th September 1997.
The Symposium is aimed at all those interested in the
microbial contamination of our aquatic environment
particularly where it impacts on human health.
We now invite offers of papers for inclusion in the
Symposium programme (either as oral or poster
presentations) with selection by submitted abstracts
(maximum of 300 words to be received by 28th February
1997).
The Symposium aims to bring together practitioners in the
field to discuss the role of microbiology in the water
cycle. Accordingly, it should attract those who devise
legislation, those who have to put it into practice and
those who assemble the data upon which valid decisions
are made.
We particularly would like to see the active
participation of the younger worker who aims to develop
their career in this sphere.
The price for the Symposium is inclusive of all
accommodation and meals as well as the final Proceedings.
