It was reported today thar the popular anti-histamine Seldane is no
longer approved. The major reason is that seldane taken with certain
other drugs such as the antibiotic erythromycin can lead to cardiac
problems. The manufacturers of Seldane continue to insisit it is safe
when correctly prescribed. Fortunately there are other alternatives
to Seldane such as Claritin.
