Research Scientist / Fermentation Technologist
The Australian Starter Culture Research Centre Limited seeks a Research
Scientist with experience in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial
Physiology, Biotechnology or a related discipline to conduct applied
research and development on lactic acid bacteria used in starter cultures
for cheese and yoghurt.
The successful applicant will probably hold a PhD with research or industry
experience. Consideration will also be given to scientists or technologists
with extensive experience in working with lactic acid bacteria. Experience
with fermenters, HPLC or GC, ability to communicate effectively and computer
skills will be distinct advantages. Salary will be based on qualifications
