* SUMMARY___________________________________________________________
A microbiologist, (prefereable with experience in the field of Ecology
and Physiology) is required to work on the pigment physiology of green
sulphur bacteria in natural conditions. The work will concentrate on the
characterization of new Bacteriochlorophylls and the microorganisms
containing them.
* QUALIFICATIONS____________________________________________________
The post would ideally suit any microbiologist with experience in
aquatic microbial ecology. Previous experience with photosynthetic
bacteria (isolation and culture) will be also positively considered.
* LOCATION __________________________________________________________
The position will be based in Girona (NE Spain), within a group working
on eco-physiology of green sulfur bacteria.
