A small group is trying to organize a local section of the Society of
Industrial Microbiology in the Research Triangle Park area of North
Carolina. I am finishing my Ph.D. at NC State and would like to get this
chapter up and running before I graduate this summer. I could also use
some help from scientists more likely to stay in the area and carry on
